Boonah Library

Scenic Rim Regional Council logo The Scenic Rim Region is located about one hour's drive south of Brisbane and west of the Gold Coast. The Region's boundaries stretch from Peak Crossing and Gleneagle in the north down to the NSW border, and from Tamborine Mountain in the east, to Aratula and the Gap National Park in the west.

Boonah Library is one of four public libraries in the Scenic Rim Region. It offers a wide range of services, resources and activities for people of all ages and interests. The Boonah Archives are stored within the Boonah Library and managed by a volunteer Archivist with support from volunteer assistants. 

The historical photograph collection consists of over 6000 photographic images and displays running with certain themes are regularly showcased within the Library.
